Southampton Ships is not affiliated with Southampton Port Authority, Associated British Ports, or any other entity referenced on the site.
No guarantee of accuracy
Southampton Ships displays ship positions, port and cruise schedules, weather, and live webcam feeds built from a number of third-party sources, credited on the Acknowledgements page. This data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data shown on the site, and you should not rely on it for navigation, safety, operational, or any other decision where accuracy matters. Always use official sources, such as the port authority or vessel operator, for anything safety related.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, scraping or automating access to it outside of the API terms below, attempting to bypass any access controls, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
API use
Where Southampton Ships exposes API endpoints, they are provided solely for use by this site and are not intended for direct third-party use. Access keys and endpoints may change or be revoked at any time without notice.

Third-party content and embedded material
The Live Webcams page embeds video streams hosted on YouTube by third-party operators, credited on the Acknowledgements page. We do not own or control this content and are not responsible for it, its availability, or its accuracy. Your use of embedded YouTube content is also subject to YouTube's own terms of service.
Ship and site photographs shown on the site are credited to their respective sources on the Acknowledgements page and remain the property of those sources. If you believe your copyrighted material is being used outside of its terms, please contact us with details.
Availability and changes
Southampton Ships is provided on a best-effort basis, run in Rod's spare time. We do not guarantee that the site, any page, or any feature will be available at all times, or free from interruptions or errors, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
